This weekend has been centered around Magic the Gathering and wow, I'm a totally geek/dork/nerd/whatever. I've been to the Cavern a lot these past few weeks. Mainly, cause the little brother is amazing and has been giving me rides home and whatnot, along with a few of our other friends. There's these two kiddies that are so totally crushing on each other that it's ADORABLE! It's just a matter of time when the two of them are FINALLY official on the whole dating thing. He plays Magic and she does not. Of course, that's a HUGE problem! Except, not really. It's okay that she doesn't play magic but it's always fun to learn and plus we're geeks/dorks/nerds/whatevers. He's teaching her how to play Magic. I can tell already that her play style is going to be very similar to his. The main thought is people's play style is similar to those who taught them how to play. Even though many people have taught me to play Magic, Sir's influence is very dominant.
This new set or block coming out, Innistrad, is totally different. It changes how Sir and I play Magic. Building decks is going to be a challenge for Sir too. He has his own decks to build and revamp, my decks will most likely need to be redone and Small's decks need to be updated as well; that is, if Smalls wants to catch up on Magic. There's Vampires, Werewolves, Zombies and a lot of Humans in this block. It's really going to be interesting.
