About Me

I am who and I and no one else in this world can be me. I have walls up for a reason. The question is: Do you have what it takes to break them down?

First Day

Today was the first day for VBS and I brought Sir to come help me. The first day is always the chaotic day but considering all that, I think today was good and a lot more things could've gone wrong.

I don't how to feel about having Joey and Taylor working the board. They did okay for the first day. Things could've gone more smoothly though. The two of them to find the flow of how to do things and to how to multitask. If not to multitask then, at least to be aware of what is going on down in the sanctuary and to know what's important at that moment. For example, if Taylor is loading the DVD for the next DVD use but Jerry has moved on and is doing pledges. Joey could either do the pledges or Taylor could stop with the DVD and do the pledges, while going is finishing the DVD set up. There's something going on with the mics too. The battery is going low when the batteries are fresh or they aren't picking up the signal so they aren't going through the board and to the monitors.

The 5th and 6th grade group is big. I'm sure that there's a couple of them that are suppose to be in the middle school group but aren't, since there's no middle school group this year. This group is ALWAYS the hardest group to teach. it's even harder that Jordan is back and the Spanish chick with the attitude. Oh! And all three of the Nakpil's are in the class. Ugh! Some of these kids, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna end up ignoring their existence.

The 1st and 2nd graders ALWAYS make the rest of the day better. :) They are all so adorable and very eager to learn. Then there's the 3rd and 4th graders. They are the same as the 1st and 2nd graders but they're more talkative. I totally LOVE this group, mainly it's because of Kara and Samuel. For the first time in forever, I get to teach the Kindergarteners! They want to run around and give me hugs. They want to dance and tell me lots of things. They are ALL SO KAWAII!!!!

Hopefully, tomorrow will go better than today. :)
