Sir and I had a small discussion today about well.. breaking up.. I was joking about it but curiosity got the best of me. If I want to leave then I can leave but he will never chase after me. He won't argue or fight with me to stay. I can just leave. The question then comes to mind, am I not worth fighting for?
Sir and I have gone through numerous occasions where we almost broke up. I had to fight for him not to break up with me. Then this topic comes up. If I want to leave then I'm free to go. He says that who is he to stop me if I want to go. What right does he have to stand in the way between me and my happier life? Yet, when he wanted me to go and I was complacent and ready to go. He had me stay and argue with him so that he can talk himself out of breaking up with. He can't return the favor?! Really?
Why does the thought that he wouldn't fight me on leaving scare me.
